2009
January: New Years in Japan. Went to visit Chiaki for a couple weeks. Proposed on 1/8. Submitted paperwork for fiancee visa.
February: School.
March: Back to Japan during Spring break for another couple weeks. Chiaki's fiancee visa application was cleared by America and sent to Tokyo consulate.
April: School.
May: Graduated with a Bachelor's in Japanese Studies from the University of Utah.
June: Promoted at work, got my own office, $$$ etc.
July: Back to Japan again for another couple weeks. Wallet was like "wassup dawg :-(" Chiaki's visa was approved.
August: Work.
September: Went to Japan to pick Chiaki up. Came back to the US together on 9/3.
October: Got married on October 10th. It's been fun ;)
November: Work.
December: Got a PS3, FF13, and a new TV (Bravia 46" 120hz) for me and Chiaki for Christmas.

Games played: Persona 3, Persona 4, Itadaki Street DS, Final Fantasy 11, Final Fantasy 13, Persona 3 PSP. Not much of a list here. Hoping 2010 finds more games that keep me interested.
Music listened: The Fall of Troy, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, Chiodos, Saosin, The Academy Is..., etc. The same stuff I listened to in 2008, basically.

Overall, 2009 was expensive. I spent over $6000 on plane tickets alone. Another $2000+ for Chiaki's visa and green card.
Here's to a more savings-filled 2010 ;o
